The Atlantic Enterprise was berthed outside the ExCel Exhibition Centre in London for the Offshore Wind Energy 2017 exhibition.

The Offshore Wind Energy exhibition was in London for 2017, with the Atlantic Enterprise the largest display at the show. Vessel owner and Managing Director of Atlantic Marine, Paul Crowther, was onboard to host guided tours of the vessel every hour. With almost 200 visitors across the 3 days, the Atlantic Enterprise proved to be a very popular attraction.

Arriving in London during the day on Monday, the Atlantic Enterprise had to wait in the lock until London City Airport had closed before she was allowed to move to the berth outside the Excel. It was up to Captain Nik to make the tricky manoeuvres out of the lock; with barely 60cm to spare either side, whilst also dealing with 40 knot winds. The following morning the Atlantic Enterprise was safely berthed alongside ready for the start of the show.

The Atlantic Enterprise wasn’t the only vessel at the show as it was also joined by the Siem Moxie which also proved to be popular.

Atlantic Marine also had a stand in the show in the Southern Hall which was busy with a constant stream of people interested in finding out more about the company and the tours of the Atlantic Enterprise.

Overall it was a very successful event and we are looking forward to the next exhibition where we can showcase our vessels.

See you there!
