Atlantic Surveyor on Charter for ABB Dol Win Project – Atlantic Surveyor secures 5 months of charter during winter 2013. The client, ABB, are working on a dol win 1 project, and ‘Surveyor’ will be operating a ROV spread using her new dynamic positioning system and also assisting cable trenching operations.
Atlantic Marine Managing New Super Yacht, Atlantic Endeavour – Atlantic Marine now manages a classic super yacht. The Atlantic Endeavour, built by Sir Tommy Sopwith in the Isle of white in 1984 this 34M yacht has an interesting historical background of supporting the Sopwith racing yachts and the 1993 Whitbread round the work yacht race. Atlantic Endeavour has just completed Phase 1 of a 2 phase re-fit working in association with Progressive Designers and is already taking bookings for summer charters based in Cannes, Corsica and Sardinia.
Atlantic Guardian A-Frame Upgrade – Atlantic Guardian has been upgraded with the installation of a new 15tonne hydraulic A-frame at the stern, and a dedicated four port mooring system with 350m wire and delta flipper anchors, – all bridge controlled and auto tension.
Atlantic Cougar stern conversion and A-Frame installation – Atlantic Cougar now has twice the amount of clear deck. The aft deck has been cleared and fitted with a 3 tonne hydraulic A-frame with “man riding” and survey tow winches. This vessel, at just 30M LOA and a draft of 1.7M, also offers DP positioning and 4 point mooring.
Atlantic Wind Ship Conversion to Multi Purpose Vessel & Accommodation – The removal of the seismic gun compressors, removal of the stern launch ramp and clearance of survey and cargo space has completed the conversion of Atlantic Wind from a seismic vessel into a multi purpose vessel. The aft deck now has the capability to launch and recover sub-sea survey and geotechnical equipment, and the former compressor room now provide additional cabins giving the ship offshore accommodation for a total of 44 persons.
Atlantic Surveyor Completes Caledonian Geotech Contract and moves into Marine Sampling – Atlantic Surveyor has just successfully completed a charter for our clients Caledonian Geotech doing geophysical site survey and ROV work. The ship will now depart for Belgium to commence over 120 CPT and cores for Marine Sampling Holland.
Atlantic Cougar on Charter in Danish/German Sectors – Atlantic Cougar is currently on charter in Danish/German sectors, doing UXO surveys with the latest magnetometer/gardiometer equipment with BACTEC, using her new A-frame and offering an excellent package of accommodation and survey handling. In June the Cougar will start one month of charter operating up to 70 miles from shore making transfers to/from turbine and met mast towers using her new bow transfer system with DP control.
